Remlok, also known as Remlok Industries, is an Allied manufacturer of equipment for pilots that is based in Bragurom Du. Its headquarters is Pellegrino Station, and it operates other facilities on the planet Remlok's Claim. Remlok is most famous as the galaxy's largest manufacturer of space suits, and for the Remlok Survival Mask, a key piece of life-preserving equipment carried by Commanders for emergencies. The corporation is also active in xeno-technology research.
History[]
Remlok Industries is a well-known corporation, extending its main economic sphere around the Bragurom Du system. The high-tech station present within the system offers high quality components and modules, as well as Remlok survival products. The corporation is also notable for its contribution to the development of xeno-technology research.

Remlok shop with items, weapons and suit
Remlok is known across the galaxy for the Remlok Survival Mask, a standard piece of emergency equipment for pilots.[3] In the event a ship's canopy is shattered, the Remlok Survival Mask will automatically activate and enclose the pilot's head, and the ship's Life Support module will supply a limited amount of breathable air through it.[4] The masks can also be worn outside the ship in hostile or airless environments in conjunction with a standard Flight Suit.[5] Other Remlok products include the Remlok MultiTools Box, the RIComs wrist-mounted personal communication device, and the Remlok Squad light military suit.[6]
In the 34th century, Remlok became active in researching Thargoid and Guardian technology.[2]
In 3307, Remlok introduced the Maverick Suit, a pilot suit designed for scavenging activities that is equipped with an Arc Cutter, Energylink, and Profile Analyser.[7][8][9]

- According to Elite Encounters RPG, the Remlok Survival Mask costs 10 credits. The novel Elite: Mostly Harmless mentions that the Remlok mask is expensive to recharge after use.
- The Remlok mask, and by extension the corporation Remlok, was introduced to the Elite series in the 1984 novella Elite: The Dark Wheel by Robert Holdstock. Although Elite: The Dark Wheel was written as a companion story for Elite, the Remlok mask did not appear in that game by name or as a gameplay mechanic.
- The player group and player minor faction Remlok Industries, which are directly tied to Remlok, are led by CMDR Nicou, a former moderator for Frontier Developments.
