The Frame Shift Wake Scanner is a utility module that can scan Frame Shift Drive Wakes and reveal the destination system of a ship that recently departed via Hyperspace.
Usage
To use, make sure that the scanner is equipped and bound to a fire group (can be done in the ship's right control menu). Maneuver close enough to a Frame Shift Wake] (should be shown on the radar as a grey box) and press the fire button until the scan has completed.
The following engineer materials can be obtained by scanning high energy wakes:
- Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes (Grade 1)
- Anomalous FSD Telemetry (Grade 2)
- Strange Wake Solutions (Grade 3)
- Eccentric Hyperspace Trajectories (Grade 4)
- Datamined Wake Exceptions (Grade 5)
