Limpets controlled by this module can transfer fuel to a targeted ship in 1 ton increments each. The limpet is consumed in this process. Fuel is taken from the firing ships main tank and sent to the targeted ship via the limpet.

The Fuel Transfer Limpet Controller is a Fuel Transfer Limpet Controller that will let pilots swap fuel while in-flight. Players can act as buddy tankers for each other. Larger freight ships can carry additional fuel for their escort fighters and extend the effective range of their Wing. This is a useful advantage, as if you are in a wing, and want more utilities for fighting, etc, instead of a fuel scoop, you can have a "mothership" which holds excess fuel through extra Fuel Tanks for refuelling fellow members of its wing.
