The Manticore Intimidator is a plasma shotgun manufactured by Manticore.
Overview[]
The Manticore Intimidator is a devastatingly powerful 'plasma shotgun', firing a volley of high-energy plasma 'pellets' with each pull of the trigger. Whilst it has an extremely short effective range compared to every other primary weapon, its damage output is surpassed only by the Karma L-6 portable rocket launcher. Aside from its very poor range, it also holds only two shots (three if Magazine Size applied) at a time before needing to reload, and has a fairly low ammo reserve.
The Intimidator is also used by Striker-class NPCs in On Foot content; these troops will quickly rush into close combat and can easily dispatch their enemies in just one or two blasts.

This weapon can be modified by Engineers to enhance its abilities. Pioneer Supplies may also occasionally offer this weapon with a modification pre-installed. Modifications include:

- Greater Range (does not make the projectile travel further, nor does it make it travel faster)

- Improved Hip Fire Accuracy
- Magazine Size (+1 charge on Intimidator)
