Normal speed

Normal speed is the speed a ship travels in normal space, without activating the boost function. It's slower than Orbital Cruise.

The maximum normal speed of a ship can only be achieved by:

• Full throttle
• Four Pips in ENG
• Landing gear retracted
• Cargo Scoop retracted
• Flight Assist on

Different ships have different maximum normal speeds, currently ranging from 130 to 330 m/s.
