Perseus Arm

The Perseus Arm is one of two major spiral arms in the Milky Way. It's in-between the Cygnus Arm and the Sagittarius Arm. It spirals out from the central regions to the galaxy's edge. The nearest part is in the direction of the Perseus constellation. It's about 6,400 light years from Sol.

The other major spiral arm is the Scutum-Centaurus Arm.
