Titan drive component is a Salvage Commodity of the Thargoids. It is a rare and valuable item. It can be salvaged from the wreckage of a dead Titan.
The component is corrosive to ship modules, and can only be safely transported using a Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack.
Collect[]
They appear very rarely around the corpse of a dead Titan. Use collector limpets or manually gather the drives with a cargo scoop open. Without a Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack, carrying this commodity will cause damage to modules.
History[]
On 23 March 3310, Achilles Corporation requested a delivery of titan drive components to build a hybrid Thargoid / Human hyperdrive.
On 19 December 3310, pre-engineered V1 SCO FSDs became available and required 1 Titan drive component, along with other materials, to purchase.
