Krait MkII是由Faulcon DeLacy所製造的飛船之一。作爲Krait MkI的接替者，Krait MkII在原設計上極大的改進。與Faulcon DeLacy旗下另一款中型多功能飛船——Python——相比，更大、更多功能，且較著重於戰鬥。也由於不顯眼的外觀，使Krait MKII較不吸引當地執法單位的注意，而成爲走私活動的常用飛船。

相較於Python，Krait MkII外觀更幹練、性能更佳，且有著獨特的部件和武器掛點配置。兩者的不同點在於，Krait MkII價格更低，且少了1個6級的内部部件槽、有著較低的裝甲耐久度、較輕的船體質量、且比Python多了一個座位（Python只能供2人進行飛船共乘），最特別的是，它可以安裝5或6級尺寸的艦載機機庫，以部署艦載機。儘管Python在貨物架容量和裝甲更勝一籌，但Krait MkII也有著更快的速度、更高的機動性、更遠的遷躍距離，和更好的戰鬥能力以及低廉的價格等特點。
Krait MkII的3個大型武器掛點位於飛船頂部的駕駛艙後上方，2個中型武器掛點則是在飛船最前端、駕駛艙的兩側前方。
雖然主要駕駛員的座位位於飛船的中綫上，但駕駛艙稍微往前突出且偏下，以提供寬廣、無視野阻礙的駕駛體驗（類似Lakon Spaceways公司的Asp Explorer飛船）。兩名副駕駛的座位則在主駕駛的後方左右兩側，且各有自身的駕駛窗。
